Ghost Down the Street

A faint light was running down the street with a large sickle in it's hand. The light was an illumined person, Rian. There wasn't any streetlights insight, so Rian had to use his bioluminescent jutsu to light the way. He kept the chakra concentrated at his skin and even at his clothes for an even light up all around his body. He wasn't bothered by his own light at all and it did provide enough vision for Rian to both see where he was going and not trip on the way. He hoped he wasn't disturbing anyone from sleeping, but he had to make this delivery now; his dad had gotten in a special order for a sickle tool. Rain's father was going to do the job himself, but the genin volunteered himself instead. It was a brisk night out, perfect for a stroll.

The boy was in a great mood today. While there was no moon out shining down, it was very peaceful. People were going to bed and there were no sounds for miles. Rian's mother called to say she was going late again, but she had it rough directing the emergency wing of the Konoha hospital; no one could blame her. The boy skipped along his way, not noticing those who were watching the glowing boy move along.

The night was still young for Anko who had just left her favorite resturants in the intire village. Though she had just beat the crap out of some guy that was tiring to obversely tired to hit on her. Hit him dead straight in the face. She was happy and continued on down the street till she passed the corner. "What the.." She spoke watching some unknown source of light walk down the street.

Feeling a small shock run through her body she pressed forward to investigate what it was. She had to it was her job too though she didn't like going alone. As she advance closer to the light she sighed lightly and stood before the light was able to turn the corner " Hold on there whatever you. What are you doing out so late hmm.." Anko shouted in her usual tone. She crossed her arms waiting for the thing to answer.

Rian gave a loud yelp and a big jump back as the woman jumped in front of him. The glowing kid with a sickle in his hands has was probably not the everyday sight for anyone, but there was no reason for her to try to give him a heart attack. Rian's nerves quickly calmed as he answered back,

"I'm running errands for my dad. He has a special order to get this sickle tool delivered immediately."

Rian paused a second for a reply, but he quickly brought himself back into conversation to explain why he was glowing,

"This is my special jutsu, it helps me see my way. Want to touch?"

Rian moved the sickle to his left hand so it was leaning on his left shoulder. He then held out his right hand, palm up to show the jounin. He then continued,

"See, nothing bad."

Rian gave a smile at the woman. She seemed nice.

Anko uncrossed her arms and moved her right to touch his hand that was oddly glowing. Feeling his hand she smirked and looked at the boy " Alright well if thats it then you may go." Anko reliped.

Turning back around she slowly walked till she stoped a few inchs in front of him " Yea let me come " She asked since she really had nothing better to do. She faced him with a smile and hoped that he would let her assists him. Anko felt the wind blow against her body and continued to wonder why he using that odd jutsu.

Anko sighed again and watched the moon appear out from behind the clouds. She scarthed her lower back and waited for Rian to relpy to her question.

Rian gave a bit of a jump as he enthusiastically said,

"Okay!"

Rian held his fist over his mouth when he realized how loud he spoke. He hoped he didn't wake up any of the people around. Not many people were fond of glow-in-the-dark kids yelling in the middle of the night. Most would probably jump in fear if they saw him the way he was. Rian was fine with that though. He loved his jutsu and nobody could tell him otherwise.

Rian continued to walk a little bit with the woman as he began to start up conversation,

"My name is Rian. You look familiar, do you know my mom. She's the lead medical ninja in the emergency wing of the hospital?"

Rian knew that most people in the village knew his mother, especially the ninja. Very few ninja were lucky enough to not pass any time at the hospital, and even a quick visit to the emergency wing would be enough to see her. Her name was Riyo.

The boy gave a literally bright smile to the woman as he continued his pace down the road. She did look slightly familiar. She probably wouldn't remember him though. He just had this thing with memorizing everyone's face so when he met them again, he could spark up conversation about other times they had seen each other. Rian loved meeting new people.

The distinct outline of a silhouette was approaching from the west, traveling the same path as the sun. It was securely wrapped in a black traveling cloak, two katannas carelessly being swung in each hand to and fro,
(Mothers saw this and hurried their children inside, strangers suddenly marching in the opposite direction)
and a long package tied to her back. If it was carefully examined, the ebony glint of a gem shaped into a scythes head could be seen.

Hikari whistled to herself, only distantly wondering where she was and why. Already she had completely forgotten her mission and her attention was drawn from her location to-
"Ramen!" she screamed, forgetting her dignity and running to a shop labeled Ichiraku, arms waving wildly over her head.

"Beef ramen, ramen, ramen." she chanted, making a steady beat using her fists to drum the counter. "Okay onna*. Heres your beef ramen, best in the country." the man who`d taken her order ten minutes ago placed a bowl in front of her and immediately regretted not backing away.
Hikari practically tore into the ramen, ignoring the chopsticks and merely using her hands and face, sending steaming noodles flying into the chef`s face. In less then thirty seconds, she had devoured the ramen and demanded ten more much to his amazement. Then again, he dealt with Uzumaki Naruto almost on a daily basis he amended.

Hikari left the Ichiraku Ramen with a content smile and an almost empty wallet. Inside, a dumbstruck chef stood next to a counter piled high with dozens of dirty bowls and stacks of ryo*.
Ahead of her was a woman and a boy. The boy was talking animatedly. "-You look familiar, do you know my mom?She's the lead medical ninja in the emergency wing of the hospital."

She ran up and slung an arm around each persons shoulder. "Hello! I`m Ryuu Hikari, who`re you guys?!" she had a humongous cheesy smile stretching her mouth to its limits, and she shouted her sentence with zeal.

(Yeah...Hikari comes on strong doesn`t she? Then again, I do that too! ^_~

[Mitarashi Anko]

Anko gave a quick glance at the girl who suddenly appeared infront of them. With another quick sigh she smirked " I'm Anko Mitarashi nice to meet ya" She said with a light yawn. Moving to the left she looked back at the two " Well I guess we should get going then " She said crossing her arms.

With another quick glance around the area Anko looked up into the night sky and wonder for bit thinking about something that was on her mind for awhile. Though a small breeze returned her to reality and she uncrossed her arms waited to get this show on the road.

" Hey Rian so why did your dad send you out so late to do this for anyway" Anko asked feeling curious. Though after hearing him mention his mother Anko lightly smiled and continued to wait for answer.
