Ino Yamanaka couldn`t help it; She screamed in joy when she saw it. The flower was almost too beautiful. It was on a thin twisting stem that shone a vibrant green. The leaves were curved and delicate, holding beads of rain from last night that sparkled like jewels. The blossom itself was breathtaking. A pearly-white hue that reminded Ino of snow, with a dark purple/indigo center, a red star shaped in the middle. Its petals were tipped lilac, violet and a royal blue.
Definetely a new breed. Ino thought excitedly. Maybe it`ll have special propeties for fighting, like poisin! Maybe I could name it. A wide grin spread across her face at that.
Ino was standing in a mildly secluded part of Konohagakure. It was a stretching field dotted with flora, shadowed by large flourishing sakura trees. The sky overhead was a stroke of baby blue. The flower she was contemplating was wavering in the breeze.
She had recently taken up a hobby of drying and pressing flowers into a book and listing information about them beside it. She`d stumbled upon this place while hunting for a specific type of rose and noticed the astounding flower immediately.
The Jounin yelled again in happiness that could be mistaken for a scream for help. "I`m gonna name it..." Ino trailed off, that brightened. "The megumi flower*." she nodded in satisfaction at the appropriate name.
( *Megumi means blessing in Japanese. By naming it the megumi flower, shes calling it the blessing flower or blessed flower.I was about to have her name it after herself until I remembered that!
Crappy start, I know. I came up with it in about two seconds.)
