Ino, now a young kunoichi of 20, with a shapely, tanned, and musclular body, was first seen in the series with light blonde hair tied into a high ponytail(Reaching to her waist), with long bangs hiding her right eye. She has pierced ears with a small silver hoop through them.(Like all of the InoShikaCho group)Her pupiless eyes are a soft blend of aqua blue and green. She is known by her high-collared sleeveless purple top, purple-and-white armwarmers and matching purple skirt with a slit up the sides. Bandages ran from her thighs where a kunai pouch is wrapped, to her abdomen.
She has regrown her hair to its original length(Having cut it in the Chuunin exams) and adopted a new wardrobe better suited for being a kunoichi. A button-up trademark purple top and short matching skirt.(A shorter black one underneath)
Fishnet are one her elbows and knees and wears no wrappings around her toned body. Her hin-ate isn`t visable, either hidden or she stopped wearing it.
Personality:
Blessed with an outgoing personality, Ino often acted snobby and shallow at the beginning of the series, later shown to care deeply for her friends(Or ex-friends in Sakura`s case) and teammates. She had been crushing completely over Uchiha Sasuke, using him to taunt Sakura and trying to get him to like her.
After the timeskip, Ino has developed into a caring person. She tries not to discriminate about people and shows her friendship with Team 10 more openly. She shows a fierce protectiveness over those she has bonds with, and is generally a person you can actually stand.

Mystical Palm Technique (Medical Jutsu)
This jutsu is a multi-purpose medical technique used by medic-nin to heal wounds and perform surgery. For the former, the user concentrates chakra to their hand and applies it to a wound, speeding up cell regeneration. For the latter, the user focuses their chakra into a blade to make cuts where necessary. Because it is done with chakra, the user doesn't need to cut through their target's skin to reach muscles and organs. For this to be applied effectively in healing, a large amount of chakra is required. Using it to cut seems to be less chakra-intensive. This cutting aspect of this jutsu can also be used in combat, though it requires incredible precision on the user's part to be effective.

This jutsu allows the user to send their mind into a target's body (even an animal's), supplanting the target's mind with their own. Though normally used as a spying jutsu, it can also be used in battle with several major drawbacks. First, the user's spirit travels slowly, making it easy to dodge. If the user misses their target, they are left helpless until their spirit returns to their body, which takes several minutes. Second, even if the technique does work, the user's ability to stay in an enemy's body is determined by how fatigued they are. The user can be forced out if facing a strong enough will (or two wills, in Sakura Haruno's case), are too tired, or if the target is in incredible pain. Finally, any damage the user suffers while possessing another is transferred to their original body. Therefore, if the target dies, so does the user.
Art of the Valentine, which is used along with Shintenshin no Jutsu in the Viz English manga, is not a literal translation of Shintenshin no Jutsu, although Shintenshin is a Japanese card game that literally means "Change of Heart".

Instead of transferring the user's consciousness, this jutsu sends a spirit of confusion into a target, causing them to attack their allies. Although the target is aware of what they are doing, they are unable to stop themselves. For this particular jutsu, the user is able to stay in their own body, unlike its predecessor; however, the user must maintain the hand seal used to activate it. Ino has learned this jutsu in the anime, but has yet to display it in the manga.

Description: A basic jutsu taught at the shinobi academy, this jutsu allows a ninja to free themselves if they have been tied up.

Description: Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra, and it also teaches them how to run up trees and walk up walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are said to be the hardest location to learn how to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will be able to have any jutsu available to him (theoretically) because she can focus chakra as needed. Next the chakra released must be properly controlled.
Name: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique]
Description: Any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. This makes the technique ideal for spying, since the user can simply send a clone to spy on a target, then have the clone disperse itself without returning to pass the information back to the user. It's also useful for training purposes, since the total amount of experience the user gains is multiplied by the total number of clones being used to train. Using it in this manner is far more difficult, however, since a large number of clones are needed to make a significant difference in the training time. It's unclear if other types of clones possess this advantage.
This technique is considered dangerous because of the manner in which the clones are created. Because the user divides their chakra among the clones, the user could potentially use up all their chakra fairly quickly if the user is low on chakra or makes too many clones, such as Naruto does with Multiple Shadow Clone Technique, this jutsu's enhanced (and forbidden) form. Naruto is able to use this technique to the extremes that he does because of his tailed beast, the nine-tailed demon fox, which gives him an abnormally high chakra level. Even without the demon fox's chakra, Naruto can make quite a few clones, but nowhere near on the level he can when he has access to the demon fox's chakra. The technique can also be dangerous if the user is injured or has some otherwise debilitating physical condition at the time of the cloning, since all of the clones will be created in roughly the same state.

Ino was born daughter to Yamanaka Inoichi and instantly became part of the InoShikaCho trio. Her family owns a flower shop, which contributes greatly to Ino`s flower arranging skill, and Ino works there sometimes part-time. Ino was seen as the popular girl at the Academy for her outgoing personality and cuteness. She appears to dislike Shikamaru and Chouji at first, but holds a strong bond with them, likewise with Sakura.
Ino was Sakura's first friend and helped Sakura develop her own identity and self-worth. As a child, she gave Sakura a ribbon so she didn't have to hide her forehead, the source of much teasing and subsequent anguish. From that point on, Sakura and Ino were best friends. As Sakura became more outgoing, she developed a crush on Sasuke Uchiha, the most popular boy in the Academy and Ino's secret crush. When Sakura found out, she ended their friendship and she and Ino developed into bitter, yet still unsuccessful, rivals over Sasuke's attention.
Ino held their rivalry close, teasing Sakura whenever she could and attempting to win Sasuke over. She was disappointed at graduation in the Academy when Sakura was on Sasuke`s team, while she was stuck with the dull and unpopular Shikamaru and fat Chouji.
During the written test portion of the Chuunin Exam, Ino used her Mind Body Switch Technique to get the answers (specifically Sakura's) and complete Shikamaru and Chouji's tests for them.
As one of the weakest teams in the exam, they had trouble locating the scroll to complete the second portion of the exam. While trying to find a weak enough team to ambush, they ran into Sakura fighting Dosu, Kin, and Zaku. As Sakura's fight with Zaku deteriorates, Ino recalls the good times she had with Sakura as a child; ultimately she decides to assist Sakura in defending the still unconscious Naruto and Sasuke. Just before Ino comes to help, the female sound ninja Kin then grabs Sakura's hair and admonishes her for being more focused on keeping it pretty and stylish rather than giving all her time and effort to her ninja training. Sakura then cuts her hair with a kunai knife, releasing Kin's grip on her and leaving Ino amazed as she kept her hair long to impress Sasuke and cutting her hair was an equivalent to her giving up her love for Sasuke. Sakura is able to bite Zaku in the arm, but he brutally fights her off and prepares to use his Decapitating Air Wave on her.
It is at this moment that Ino's team decides to jump in. Shikamaru uses his Shadow Imitation Technique to bind Dosu. Ino uses Mind Body Switch Technique to transfer to Kin. She then holds a kunai to her throat and threatens to kill herself as Kin. This is a bluff, as Zaku finds out a few minutes later by attacking Ino-possessed Kin; anything that happens to whoever she possesses happens to her body also. After Sasuke chases the Sound-nin away, Team 7 and Team 10 part ways. Ino and her team supposedly take a scroll off-screen because they are seen as three of the participants of the Third Exam Preliminaries.
In the preliminary matches of the Chunin Exam, Ino and Sakura are paired up to fight. Ino cleverly performs her Mind Body Switch Technique successfully, but is unable to make Sakura (and, to Ino's surprise and horror, "Inner Sakura" for that matter) give up. The two knock each other out and neither continues on to the final matches. After the matches, Ino and Sakura rekindle their friendship as Ino fully recognizes that Sakura has "bloomed into a beautiful flower" and tells her such.
It is also during this fight that Sakura gives Ino a reprimand similar to the one Kin gave to her in regards to Ino's beautiful and well-kept hair. Not to be outdone or insulted by Sakura's newfound determination, Ino cuts her hair as well, shocking everyone (Shikamaru actually thinks Ino has "completely snapped.") except for Sakura, who simply states, "You are so simple-minded." It isn't until later that Ino reveals that she really severed her locks so that they could serve as a lasso to subdue Sakura and hold her in place long enough for Ino to perform her Mind Body Switch Technique later in the match. Both kunoichi knock each other out, but both later also advanced to Chuunin over the years, and later, Jounin.

Ino makes her Part II debut in Chapter 284 showing up just after Chouji and Shikamaru fought Sai, yelling because Chouji was late for a mission they were both leaving on with Asuma.
Ino first meets Sai when Team 10 pays a visit to Kakashi in the hospital. Immediately, Ino recognizes the resemblance between Sai and Sasuke and develops an infatuation for the new face. Her sudden feelings are only strengthened further after Sai gives her the nickname "beautiful" or "pretty lady," which is seemingly a compliment on her appearance. In actuality, Sai was simply complimenting her out of fear of a similar violent reprieve to his calling Sakura "ugly".
Later, she and Chouji come to help Shikamaru and his team against Hidan and Kakuzu. It is mentioned that she is able to use Medical ninjutsu, though it is not known if she is a qualified medic-nin like Sakura or possibly acting as a combat lifesaver. Ino was told to use some medical ninjutsu to improve Asuma's condition. However, Asuma knew his time was up, and instead gave Team 10 some parting words — To Ino, Asuma says that her spirit is strong and that she is a helpful child, so she should take care of Chouji and Shikamaru, who are awkward. He also tells her not to lose to Sakura in ninjutsu or in love, to which she said yes. Then, after taking his last cigarette, Asuma passes away in front of her.
She and Chouji attend Asuma's funeral. After the funeral, she, Shikamaru, and Chouji pack up and go after Akatsuki. When Tsunade attempted to stop them, Kakashi offered to accompany them as team leader and the four left to continue their mission.
After Shikamaru explains his strategy to everyone, Ino locates Hidan and Kakuzu by controlling a hawk with her Mind Body Switch Technique. During the battle, Ino plays the role of observer. After rejoining her teammates, Ino suggests using her Mind Body Switch Technique to take over Hidan, but Shikamaru declines the idea, since the chance of her missing would be too much of a risk to take. Ino, along with Kakashi and Chouji, were bound by Kakuzu's veins and were about to face a deadly elemental attack. However, she is saved by the timely arrival of Team 7, which nullifies Kakuzu's attack. After Naruto's new jutsu fails, Ino and Chouji wish to join the attack. But Yamato and Kakashi agree to let Naruto fight against Kakuzu alone.

She smirked a little though, as she applied mascara in her vanity mirror. Her Sasuke-kun was training today, so she could pretend she had come to train as well, while she stole his heart! "Perfect." she grinned. A rub of dark red lipstick later, she dashed out of her room, ready for the day.

After the matches, Ino and Sakura rekindle their friendship as Ino fully recognizes that Sakura has "bloomed into a beautiful flower" and tells her such.
It is also during this fight that Sakura gives Ino a reprimand similar to the one Kin gave to her in regards to Ino's beautiful and well-kept hair. Not to be outdone or insulted by Sakura's newfound determination, Ino cuts her hair as well, shocking everyone (Shikamaru actually thinks Ino has "completely snapped.") except for Sakura, who simply states, "You are so simple-minded." It isn't until later that Ino reveals that she really severed her locks so that they could serve as a lasso to subdue Sakura and hold her in place long enough for Ino to perform her Mind Body Switch Technique later in the match. Both kunoichi knock each other out, but both later also advanced to Chuunin over the years, and later, Jounin.

Ino makes her Part II debut in Chapter 284 showing up just after Chouji and Shikamaru fought Sai, yelling because Chouji was late for a mission they were both leaving on with Asuma.
Ino first meets Sai when Team 10 pays a visit to Kakashi in the hospital. Immediately, Ino recognizes the resemblance between Sai and Sasuke and develops an infatuation for the new face. Her sudden feelings are only strengthened further after Sai gives her the nickname "beautiful" or "pretty lady," which is seemingly a compliment on her appearance. In actuality, Sai was simply complimenting her out of fear of a similar violent reprieve to his calling Sakura "ugly".
Later, she and Chouji come to help Shikamaru and his team against Hidan and Kakuzu. It is mentioned that she is able to use Medical ninjutsu, though it is not known if she is a qualified medic-nin like Sakura or possibly acting as a combat lifesaver. Ino was told to use some medical ninjutsu to improve Asuma's condition. However, Asuma knew his time was up, and instead gave Team 10 some parting words — To Ino, Asuma says that her spirit is strong and that she is a helpful child, so she should take care of Chouji and Shikamaru, who are awkward. He also tells her not to lose to Sakura in ninjutsu or in love, to which she said yes. Then, after taking his last cigarette, Asuma passes away in front of her.
She and Chouji attend Asuma's funeral. After the funeral, she, Shikamaru, and Chouji pack up and go after Akatsuki. When Tsunade attempted to stop them, Kakashi offered to accompany them as team leader and the four left to continue their mission.
After Shikamaru explains his strategy to everyone, Ino locates Hidan and Kakuzu by controlling a hawk with her Mind Body Switch Technique. During the battle, Ino plays the role of observer. After rejoining her teammates, Ino suggests using her Mind Body Switch Technique to take over Hidan, but Shikamaru declines the idea, since the chance of her missing would be too much of a risk to take. Ino, along with Kakashi and Chouji, were bound by Kakuzu's veins and were about to face a deadly elemental attack. However, she is saved by the timely arrival of Team 7, which nullifies Kakuzu's attack. After Naruto's new jutsu fails, Ino and Chouji wish to join the attack. But Yamato and Kakashi agree to let Naruto fight against Kakuzu alone.

"Ino-chan," Sasuke whispered into her ear. "Sasuke-kun." she murmured back. Her aqua eyes held onto his onyx orbs, feeling happiness and hope swell in her chest. A gentle breeze brushed against her cheek, warm sunshine beaming onto the couple. Ino felt soft green grass beneath her hand; Brightly colored flowers waved at her from the corner of her eye. She leaned in for the kiss....
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Ino`s alarm bleated, jerking her from her wondrous dream. She scrunched her pale lips into a frown, and slammed her fist onto the d*mn clock. She saw with grim stisfaction when she lifted her fist, that it had been reduced to a fine dust. A sigh escaped her as she dressed, disappointed that alarm had to keep ruining her PG-13 fantasies.
She smirked a little though, as she applied mascara in her vanity mirror. Her Sasuke-kun was training today, so she could pretend she had come to train as well, while she stole his heart! "Perfect." she grinned. A rub of dark red lipstick later, she dashed out of her room, ready for the day.
